We set no cookies of any kind: none for analytics, none for advertising and none from third parties.

What your browser keeps for one tab

The site uses your browser's session storage, which belongs to a single tab and is deleted when you close it. It holds:

• the hotel you picked in the hotel finder, so the booking form on the hamam's page already knows it;
• what you have typed into the booking form, so a reload does not wipe it;
• the result of a booking you have just made, so the confirmation stays on screen if you reload;
• a random code that lets our own page-view measurement tell one tab's page views apart.

Our page-view measurement

To see which pages are read and which buttons are used, we run our own measurement on this domain. No outside analytics or advertising service is involved.

For each page you view, it records the page's address (including any campaign or ad-click parameters in the link), the page title and the page or site that brought you here. Each page view also carries your device type, browser and operating system, the identification string your browser sends (its user agent), your screen and window size, your browser's language settings and time zone, and an approximate location (country, region and city) worked out from your IP address.

While you are on the site, it also records how long you stay on each page and how far down you scroll; clicks on buttons and links, including the booking, WhatsApp, phone and e-mail links, and links to other websites; when you send a form; and when you complete a booking, together with its total.

Your IP address itself is not stored. The measurement keeps only a shortened form of it, with the last part removed, and a pseudonymous code that our server calculates from your IP address and browser details using a secret key. That code is kept on our server, not in your browser, and lets the measurement recognise a returning visitor, including one who comes back on a later day.

How to switch it off

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the measurement does not run at all. Nor does it run if your browser blocks this site from storing data: it needs session storage to work.

Clearing this site's data in your browser settings, or closing the tab, deletes what is kept in your browser, but it does not switch the measurement off: on your next page view it starts again with a new random code. None of this affects booking.
